The design inspiration is derived from the stained glass windows of the Florence Cathedral. The main stone of the ring is exceptionally unique, being a rare plant fossil blue amber. Due to the impact of volcanic geological processes, the majority of plant inclusions in blue amber are typically carbonized. However, within this piece of blue amber, the plant structure has been remarkably preserved, with clear and vivid colors and textures visible. The ring features a simple bezel setting, highlighting the beauty of the main stone to the maximum extent. Given the exceptional nature of the main stone, finding another piece of amber with similar characteristics is highly unlikely, making this ring truly one-of-a-kind.
Materials: Natural Dominican Botanical Fossil Blue Amber, 925 Silver
Ring Size: Adjustable
Gemological knowledge: The inherent color of Dominican Blue Amber is not blue but a bright lemon yellow or egg white hue. The blue color it exhibits is a result of light refraction. Dominican Blue Amber is one of the rarest amber varieties globally, exclusively found in the Dominican Republic and facing imminent depletion. It's the only amber type that showcases a vivid blue color under sunlight. Many commercially available blue ambers only exhibit a noticeable blue color under UV light and cannot be considered genuine blue amber. In the Dominican Republic, only a small fraction of the blue amber can showcase a vibrant sky-blue hue, considered the highest color grade for blue amber.
