Upon receiving your customization request, we will initially invite you to complete a brief questionnaire. In this survey, we'll ask fundamental questions related to customization. For example, the type of jewelry you want to customize, preferred design styles, favorite gemstone types and colors, and more. After receiving your responses, we will schedule an online video meeting with you to delve deeper into your needs.

This will be a two-way selection process. We will provide professional advice on your requirements while assessing whether our design style aligns with your needs.

If both parties reach an agreement, we will proceed to the next stage.

STEP 2

Choose the gemstone that best suits you

Let's combine an example to understand the customization process more simply.

A female customer approached us with a customization request, seeking to create an eye-catching ring. As a cocktail ring, the main stone of the ring needed to have a strong presence. The design style of the ring needed to be simple yet sophisticated, showcasing the gemstone from all angles.

We learned that she is a successful professional woman, and her daily style leans towards simplicity and professionalism. A cocktail ring suitable for a professional woman needed to be attractive without being overly flashy, enhancing the overall elegance of her attire.

Considering practicality, we recommended several design options to determine her preferred style. Taking into account budget constraints, color preferences, and various considerations, we ultimately recommended a nearly 5ct Lagoon Blue tourmaline, sourced from Afghanistan.

STEP 3

Confirm the design

Once the main stone and preferred design style are confirmed, the formal jewelry design process can officially commence.

The inspiration for the design is diverse. This female client shared her travel experiences with us. Drawing from this journey, we refined certain elements, combining them with her favored design style, resulting in the creation of the ring's design concept.

As original designers, we highly respect the copyright of the jewelry creations. This means that the design we provide is entirely original, crafted based on the client's requirements, making it a truly unique piece.

After the design is confirmed, we will proceed to the next step.

STEP 4

Confirm final details through 3D modeling

3D modeling is a crucial step in bringing the design to life.

We employ advanced 3D modeling techniques to accurately simulate the size and proportions of the finished jewelry piece. During this process, we confirm more design details and, through expert adjustments, ensure the proportions and structure of the design are precise.

STEP 5

Handcraft your jewelry

Bringing a jewelry piece from paper to reality requires meticulous craftsmanship from skilled
jewelers. We choose to collaborate with high-end jewelry workshops in Paris and Hong Kong to manufacture our custom pieces. The craftsmen in these workshops typically possess over a decade of experience in jewelry making and have crafted jewelry for some of the world's top jewelry brands. This means that at ZWonder, you can also experience world-class jewelry craftsmanship.

After 4 weeks, her jewelry was finally completed.

STEP 6

Ship your jewelry

After the completion of the jewelry crafting process, we shipped the jewelry to the female client. Her jewelry was delicately packaged in an eco-friendly jewelry box and was delivered to her safely. Along with the jewelry, an authoritative certification from Guild Laboratory was shipped to her, providing detailed information about the main stone in the ring.

    The main stones in custom jewelry come with certificates from internationally recognized gemological laboratories, verifying details such as gemstone category, treatment status, color grading, and more.

    We choose to collaborate with reputable shipping companies and fully insure the jewelry to its value. For security reasons, the external packaging of the parcel doesn't display any information about the brand or its contents. Your parcel will be hand-delivered to you by a courier, and we request customers to sign upon delivery.

    • Free repairs are provided for damages caused by quality issues.
