Fine Jewelry Born In Passion

Creating a magical connection between woman and natural gemstones.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our design inspiration is highly diverse. Inspired by nature, art, and architecture, our design style is both simple and romantic. We aim to showcase the natural beauty of gemstones to the fullest by incorporating fluid lines, changing geometric shapes, and architectural structures. In the design and crafting of our jewelry, we not only consider aesthetics but also prioritize functionality and comfort in wear. Through our jewelry creations, we seek to share our passion for life and appreciation for the diversity of beauty.

Simultaneously, we are committed to offering jewelry worthy of a lifetime at the fairest prices. We aspire to allow more consumers to experience the beauty of natural gemstones. Tired of the industrialization and repetition within the jewelry industry, we aim to create truly soulful pieces that liberate consumers from "fast fashion" jewelry. We create the jewelry, and you, through daily wear, create a unique connection with it. We hope our jewelry can accompany you through different stages of life and be worthy of passing down to the next generation.

Furthermore, we actively practice environmental consciousness at every stage. We adhere to using 100% recycled gold and silver, ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones, sustainably harvested pearls, and exquisite craftsmanship to create jewelry that can withstand everyday wear and tear.

FOUNDER & DESIGNER

Hello, I'm Anqi from China. I am a jewelry designer and a gemologist.

In 2016, I embarked on a journey to France for my studies. It was my first time in Paris, and I was immediately captivated by the rich cultural and artistic atmosphere of the city. In 2023, I founded my own jewelry brand, ZWonder Fine Jewelry, in Paris.

Born in China, my hometown produces a type of agate with colorful patterns. From a young age, I had a strong interest in colored gemstones. As a gemstone enthusiast, I enjoy collecting specimens of colored gemstones and delving into related knowledge. Sometimes, I personally engage in gemstone cutting, witnessing their transformation from rough stones to dazzling gems in my hands, which provides me a sense of relaxation and satisfaction.

While my background is not in jewelry, before fully dedicating myself to jewelry entrepreneurship, I worked in project management for a Fortune 500 company. Jewelry has always been my passion. This passion led me to self-study jewelry design, obtain a Colored Gemstones Gemologist certificate from the Guild Institute of Gemology, and continually build expertise in jewelry aesthetics.

In 2022, I decided to follow my heart and embark on a journey in the jewelry field. I collaborate with seasoned gemologists deeply connected to the world's top gem procurement markets and experienced jewelry craftsmen with decades of expertise in high-end jewelry manufacturing. Through my original designs, I materialize my instinctive understanding of nature and art into each piece of jewelry.

For me, the name "ZWonder" represents a curiosity about the world and the exploration of the unknown. Through ZWonder jewelry creations, I aim to empower women and encourage people to bravely travel the world, constantly reflect on themselves, and fearlessly pursue the lifestyle they truly desire.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

We are committed to creating jewelry that is worthy of a lifetime of wear, which means we have the utmost pursuit of product quality.

All ZWonder jewelry undergoes dual quality inspections before being shipped to customers. One inspection is conducted by our collaborative jewelry craftsmen, and the other is completed by the brand's team.

We meticulously select gemstones with the expertise of gemologists. Simultaneously, our professional supply chain allows us to offer scarce and niche gemstones.

All colored gemstones we use undergo precise cutting, and our ultimate cutting technique maximizes the gemstones' brilliance.

We use diamonds with E/F color, VS clarity grades, and excellent cut for stone matching. This represents the highest grade of diamond matching in the jewelry industry.

The majority of gemstones we sell come with authoritative certificates from third-party gemstone appraisal laboratories.

OUR ENGAGEMENT

We do not use any lab-grown gemstones or lab-created diamonds in the production of our jewelry. All ZWonder jewelry pieces are crafted with natural gemstones and natural diamonds.

We exclusively collaborate with suppliers who adhere to the Kimberley Process to ensure the compliance of the origins of all diamonds used. We support legal and ethical diamond trade, rejecting diamonds obtained through illegitimate means.

While there is no certification label similar to the Kimberley Process in the colored gemstone procurement field, we choose to collaborate only with responsible suppliers to ensure that our procurement practices are as environmentally friendly as possible.

We use recycled gold and silver in the production of our jewelry to fulfill our commitments to environmental protection.

We choose to primarily offer made-to-order jewelry. This practice helps us avoid excessive inventory. Inventory can inevitably impact the final sale prices, and reducing it allows us to provide consumers with more reasonable prices. Additionally, minimizing inventory further reduces the carbon footprint of the production process.

What is the Kimberley Process?

The Kimberley Process is an international certification scheme established in 2003 to prevent the trade of conflict diamonds, also known as blood diamonds.
The process aims to ensure that diamonds are ethically sourced and not used to finance armed conflict against governments.
Participating countries commit to implementing measures to track and certify the origin of rough diamonds and prevent the entry of conflict diamonds into the legitimate diamond trade.

What is 100% recycled gold and silver?

The use of 100% recycled gold and silver in the jewelry industry refers to the practice of exclusively utilizing gold and silver extracted through recycling processes in the production of jewelry.
Adopting 100% recycled gold and silver helps reduce the demand for natural resources, avoiding over-extraction of Earth's minerals and promoting sustainability within the jewelry industry.
The process of recycling gold and silver typically results in lower environmental impact compared to new mining and extraction, including reduced greenhouse gas emissions and pollution of water resources.

What are the differences between lab-grown gemstones and natural gemstones?

"Lab-grown gemstones" refer to gems created artificially in a laboratory through processes such as high-temperature high-pressure or solution methods. Lab-grown gemstones are often exceptionally clean. People can easily achieve the desired color, purity, and size in a controlled environment.
While "natural gemstones" are gems formed through geological processes deep within the Earth, often taking hundreds of thousands of years. The appearance and chemical composition of natural gemstones are influenced by geological conditions and the formation process, leading to greater variations in inclusions, color, and purity.
For natural colored gemstones, the unique internal inclusions actually add to their distinctive charm, a feature challenging to replicate in lab-grown gemstones.

What are the differences between lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds?

Lab-grown diamonds are artificially created in a laboratory using controlled processes such as high-pressure high-temperature or chemical vapor deposition. Natural diamonds formed deep within the Earth 1 to 3 billion years ago. While lab-grown diamonds have the same composition as natural ones, the key distinction lies in their origin.
The higher value of natural diamonds is attributed to their limited occurrence. Annual production of natural diamonds above 1 carat is equivalent to a fitness ball. Natural diamonds have experienced a 3% annual price increase over 35 years. In contrast, lab-grown diamonds have decreasing costs and minimal resale value.
Leading natural diamond mining companies are working to control carbon emissions. The environmental impact of a one-carat natural diamond is comparable to producing three smartphones. Natural diamonds last a lifetime, with enduring value, unlike smartphones.
Simultaneously, the natural diamond industry employs 10 million people globally, contributing $9.64 billion annually in social, economic, and environmental net benefits, with 80% reinvested locally.
